iDistress Emergency Defense app for iPhone and iPad

Youre in a dark situation and need help. A simple app that can be a life saver. When you press start, it turns your flashlight into a defense light that will disorient anything behind it, while also recording video evidence of the situation.

Text Alert:
Choose up to two friends to send a text alert with one click that will let them know your GPS coordinates and altitude so they can send help.

Call 911:
It takes 6 button clicks to normally call 911. With this app it takes two, one to open the app, and one to call 911, eliminating 4 clicks in the state of an emergency.

Start:
When you start recording, it flashes the light and starts the siren while it runs for ten seconds then automatically save locally, or you can stop it manually.

Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
